Hello everyone!

We have all experienced unprecedented changes to our lives since 2020. For those of us who are able to stay healthy and continue to work from home, attend online classes and have food delivered to our doorsteps, we are fortunate to manage the risk to a minimum level. It is a privilege not experienced by many, especially those in developing countries who are facing greater challenges.

If you have been looking for ways to help, I truly hope you will join Eva and I in the effort to raise funds for UNICEF Canada through the 2021 Canada Youth Visual Art Contest (https://aoma.ca/cyvac/). The contest is organized by Youth Initiative Vancouver (YIV, https://aoma.ca/youth-initiative-vancouver/ ), a non-profit volunteer-based student organization in Vancouver, co-organized by Academy of Modern Art (AOMA, https://aoma.ca/ ). UNICEF is our Charity Partner.

With this unprecedented event that affected us all, Eva and I also made an unprecedented decision that we will match your donation up to a maximum of $1,500 CAD. We aim to raise $3000 CAD for UNICEF Canada to help get life-saving essentials to vulnerable children and families.

Here is what your donation can do:

$21 can provide school supplies like pencils & books for 35 children
$58 can provide backpacks for 11 children
$75 can send one child to school
$278 can provide a School-in-a-Box, to provide education for 40 children
