Hello everyone!

I've decided to host a fundraiser in support of Education programs through UNICEF Canada. UNICEF is dedicated to ensuring that all children can enjoy their right to a quality education, from early learning opportunities that lay the groundwork for success in school, all the way through secondary school. They believe that educating children is an investment in their futures, and in future peaceful and prosperous societies. All this is possible because of donor support. That’s why I’m asking for your help. My campaign is about ensuring children not only have a chance to survive, but to thrive into adulthood.

I’ve chosen UNICEF because they reach the farthest for children in need. They exist for every child everywhere, without discrimination. They’re able to work with governments and influence the private sector and decision-makers to do what’s right. In the last three years alone, UNICEF provided education materials to nearly 47 million children – many affected or displaced from their homes by conflict and crisis.

It’s amazing what fundraising can do! But millions of children are still without quality education, and this has to change.
