Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwest Louisiana’s Bowl For Kids’ Sake has been the agency’s largest annual fundraiser for almost 40 years. Bowl For Kids' Sake will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2020. This year's theme is "UNDER THE BIG TOP", where you will have a UNIQUE and MARVELOUS experience while supporting our mentoring mission in SWLA. Participants form teams of up to six bowlers who fund-raise on behalf of BBBS-SWLA in the weeks leading up to the event. Teams must raise a minimum of $180 but some teams raise even upwards of $1,000. The actual event is a celebration to thank those who have raised funds on behalf of the non-profit. Beer, soft drinks and food will be available on the day of the event, which takes place from 9:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m at Petro Bowl in Lake Charles. Fantastic prize packages donated by the Golden Nugget and L'Auberge Casino Resort, raffle items donated by Southwest Beverage Company, and incentive prizes given at certain fundraising levels will be awarded to the top 10 fundraisers.

With the additional funds raised, BBBS-SWLA hopes to expand the mentoring programs that currently exist in our community, as well as potentially introduce new programs down the line.
