Join us and help defend the potential of youth in our community!
Bowl for Kids’ Sake is Big Brothers Big Sisters of Hampden County’s largest fundraiser accounting for 25% of our fundraising revenue each year! We have been fortunate through the years to have had such great success. THANK YOU!
These events provide the funding necessary to help over 345 youth on average per year reach their potential and have become for so many of our partners their favorite team building activity of the year! Both are critical during these times.
We at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Hampden County realize that it is vital to do our part to “flatten the curve” in this global pandemic.
We have made the decision to have this year’s Bowling event be a virtual bowl!
The need for your support is critical.
We can't provide our award winning services without your help.
So our ask of you at this time is the same as is has been for the past 32 years…
First, start a team. Teams are formed with five or six members. Consider creating a team with family, friends, or co-workers.
Then, start your fundraising. Most bowlers raise about $170, but many people raise over $1,000. What impact do you want to have? 100% of the money raised by bowlers goes directly towards supporting children served by Big Brothers Big Sisters in your community.
Our mission of creating and supporting one-to-one mentoring relationships to ignite the power and promise of youth does not decrease because of a pandemic. In fact, the stresses that our children are facing in the midst of this national emergency only increase the need for connection with a mentor. We are asking for your help in making this event as successful as ever!
Partnering with Big Brothers Big Sisters through Bowl for Kids' Sake makes a positive, long-lasting impact on children in your community. Our mentoring works. It works to help broaden children's perspectives and help them learn how to make good choices. It starts a child on the path to fulfilling their potential and succeeding in school and life.
